Former Chairman of PAM, Attorney Chesley Hamilton has some advice for Energy Minister Ian “Patches” Liburd in reference to comments made by Liburd that Operation Rescue Dwyer Astaphan did not get what he wanted and so was being critical of the Unity Government.
Hamilton speaking on Freedom Fm’s Issues on Friday said Liburd’s comments were unfortunate and advised Liburd not to make errors of commission.
Hamilton said Astaphan handled Liburd’s comments from the PAM convention very well.
Hamilton also had a message for the Team Unity Government. He said the Unity Agenda for Change needed to be advanced and must of necessity deal with the issues that would bring a common sense revolution of participatory democracy.
Hamilton opined that the government needed to keep in touch with the people who elected them to office.
Hamilton said his government had miscommunicated with the people, and in the interest of full disclosure had to have public meetings and a one and one touch with the people.
