St. Kitts and Nevis Pm the Hon Dr Timothy Harris told a national radio and TV audience at the Team Unity Government Town Hall Meeting in Sandy Point on Thursday night to “STOP” listen to Freedom Fm radio.
Pm Harris indicated that on Freedom Fm and Winn Fm people were calling in scandalizing and undermining the TUG. Pm Harris advised the listeners to turn off your radio… foolishness dem a talk.
“ you hear some a de things that big people on Freedom Radio a talk, just stop and turn off your radio…foolishness dem a talk- when you hear some a de crazy things dat some of de people want to call in on Wind and scandalize and undermine your Team Unity Government turn off your radio , foolishness dem a talk. When you hear some a dem foolishness you could come to me yes… but I am busy working for this country,
I am busy ensuring that I leave SKN in a better place than I met it.” The Prime Minister and Minister of National Security then referenced a time when he used to go on Freedom Fm when he was in opposition, saying that he did this against the advice of his supporters, as the host of Issues at the time Freedom Fm CEO Juni Liburd reserved the hardest question for him.
Pm Harris called on supporters to STOP listening to Freedom Fm as it was a distraction. He urged them instead to focus on the achievements of the Team Unity Government in delivering over 50 of their campaign promises.
