Cayon 4G Rockets and National Team Mid-Fielder Javiem Blanchette left the island on Saturday for El Salvador where he will be participating in try-outs for the football club Club Deportivo Águila (CD Aguila).
CD Aguila Coach Edgardo Malvestiti confirmed that Blanchette arrived on Saturday afternoon to participate in the Team’s tryouts to fill the fourth available spot for Foreign players just days ahead of the deadline.
Coach Malvesti said that the 24 Year Old Blanchette is totally unknown to him but was highly recommended by the teams board w. Coacht Malvesti however has seen videos of Blanchette and was willing to accept the recommendation of the board and give Blanchette a tryout.
“I do not know him completely. I can tell you this is a test, we’ll practice on Monday. We will evaluate him four or five days. If he manages to convince us he(Javiem Blanchette) will stay with us, but keep looking, “said CD Aguilla’s Rosario Helsman
Blanchette was the center piece of the Cayon Rockets Team that won the recent SKNFA National Title. He was widely regarded as the top player in the SKNFA.
