Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 03, 2016, (RSCNPF): Below is a report of Arrest, Convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period September 30 to October 02.
ARREST AND BAIL:
Arrested: Cleon Doylin of Challengers was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply
Arrested: Kingsley Thomas Tyson of Craddock Road was arrested, formally charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply.
Arrested/Bailed: Livingston Browne of Upper Monkey Hill was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply. Bailed: Livingston Browne was granted bail in the sum of $5,000.00 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on the Monday 7th November, 2016.
Arrested/Bailed: Vince Fitzgerald Gumbs of Cunningham Cayon was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Unlawfully conveying portions of the plant Cannabis, tobacco, a lighter, a pair of scissors, spirituous liquor, a cell phone and cell phone charger and honey into Her Majesty’s Prison, Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply.Bailed: Vince Fitzgerald Gumbs was granted bail in the sum of $10,000.00 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on the 7th November, 2016. One condition of the bail is that he is not to be in the vicinity of Hart Street.
Arrested/Bailed: Lesroy Edwards of Stapleton Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply Bailed: Lesroy Edwards was granted bail in the sum of $5000.00 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Monday 3rd October, 2016.
Arrested/Bailed: Ajibola Adegeriage of Lime Kilm was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the following offences (1) Driving unlicensed vehicle, Driving without insurance and (2) Driving without Insurance and (3) Driving without being a holder of a valid and unexpired license. Bailed: Ajibola Adegberiage was granted bail in the sum of $5,000.00 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on the Monday 7th November, 2016.
Arrested/Bailed: Jacqueline Edwards of Stapleton Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply. Bailed: Jacqueline Edwards was granted bail in the sum of $5,000.00 for her appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on the 3rd October 2016.
Bailed: Cleavon Chumney of Upper Monkey Hill St. Peters was granted bail in the sum $10,000.00 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on the 7th November 2016 to answer bail under the condition that he is to refrain from entering Hart Street while on bail.
Bailed: Keneisha Wattley of Bodys Village who was arrested and charged for Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition she was bailed in the sum of $ 50,000 for her appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on 7th November 2016 at 09:00 hrs in the forenoon. Condition: To report to the Old Road Police Station every Monday and Thursday between the hours of 06:00 hrs and 6:00 pm.

OTHER ACTIVITY:
Search Warrants Executed: police executed a number of search warrants over the period of this report. The warrants were executed in the following areas Upper Monkey Hill, Cayon, Parray Village, Stapleton Village, Carifesta Village, Butlers Village and Craddock Road.
Abandoned Buildings Searched: Police executed searches on a number of abandoned buildings in St. Kitts, five (5) abandoned buildings were searched, one (1) in Cayon and four (4) at Lodge Project. During the search Forty-seven Marijuana plants were found ranging from seedlings to eight (8) feet. They were uprooted and seized by the Police.
Burglary and Larceny: Police is investigating five (5) incidents of Burglary/Larceny which occurred in the last days. One (1) in New Roads Housing, One (1) at a maintenance shed at the R. L. B International Airport and three (3) in the Frigate Bay area. In each incident, the VC reported the loss of items. No one was injured in any of the incidents.
Traffic Accidents: There were two (2) traffic accidents on the federation’s roadways in St. Kitts on 29th September 2016. There were four (4) traffic accidents on the federation’s roadways in St. Kitts on 30th September 2016. There was one (1) traffic accident on the federation’s roadways in St. Kitts on 1st October 2016. There were three (3) traffic accidents on the federation’s roadways in St. Kitts on 2nd October
2016.
Citizen Safety: Police continue to conduct stop and searches, utilize vehicle check points and conduct community patrols across both islands. These are done in efforts to rid our communities of illegal firearms, ammunition, drugs and other instruments than can be used to commit crimes.
Community Engagement: Police from the Newcastle Police Station, the Cotton Ground Police Station, the Frigate Bay Police station continue to engage residents in the areas they serve by conduction meet and greet sessions in the communities. This initiative is being done to foster continued relations between Police and the community.
