BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS – Thousands of shareholders of the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank are quietly asking why has no dividends being received for the business year 2016.
While questions are being asked, at least two individuals have asked the same question.
Under the subject: “AGMs for St. K-N-A National Bank and Cable & Wireless, St. K-N Ltd”, Willa Franks asked on the skn@yahoogroups chat, “What is happening Does anyone know when the AGMs of the above-referenced companies are likely to be held?”
She noted: “They are usually held in the months of December/January, but to date there has been no word on the date from either of them. Thanks.”
Another person, Bernard Jefferson asked: “What is happening to the dividends for the shareholders of the St Kitts-Nevis National Bank.”
He added: “It is said that dividends are normally paid by the third week of December in each year. To date not one shareholder has received or told to go and pick up a check.”

The Forty-Fifth Annual General Meeting of the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Limited was held on January 21st 2016.
“All shareholders of record as at January 7, 2016 will be entitled to receive a dividend in respect of the financial year ended 30th June 2015.
Net profit before tax for 2015 was EC$23.3 million.
