Kevin Lawrence of Harris Village driver of HA127 has been charged with causing death by careless driving and granted bail in the sum of $50K with two sureties.
Lawrence is also to surrender his travel documents and report to the Cayon police station twice weekly.
On Monday 7 year old Leshawn Jones was struck by a Hire Bus driven by Lawrence in Keys as he crossed the main road.
Lawrence was at the time travelling to Basseterre from Cayon when the accident occured.
Leshawn Jones was subsequently hospitalized at the JNF but succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday.
