Police on Nevis are investigating a murder in Cotton Ground, Nevis.
The victim Rondell Chapman of Rawlins Village,Gingerland was reportedly on the field playing cricket Sunday afternoon when two armed masked men reportedly rushed him and shot him, fatally wounding him.
Chapman was shot in the head several times in front of a shocked and traumatized crowd watching a Sunday afternoon cricket game.
Police have recovered a firearm at the scene of the Cotton Ground shooting.
This is the second murder in the federation in less than 24 hours and takes the murder tally to 5 so far in 2017 in SKN.

Meanwhile officers responding to the shooting incident at discovered and seized a Glock 9mm pistol with a magazine containing 15 matching rounds of ammunition. The shooting incident occurred about 4.00pm on Sunday (March 26) and resulted in the death of one person.
