The husband of slain television journalist Marcia Henville, who was charged with murder late Saturday, is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
Sheldon Henville was slapped with the charge after investigators consulted with Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard.
Marcia, 51,the host of TV6’s Point Blank, was killed on the morning of January 23 at her home in St. Augustine. She was stabbed several times all over her body and the bedroom of the townhome was set on fire.
Following Marcia’s murder, Sheldon, 40, was admitted to hospital where he was being treated for burns he sustained.
Last Tuesday, he was released into the custody of the police who questioned him about the incident.
Marcia who was born and raised Notting Hill, West London, worked at various media houses here before hosting her own show “Point Blank” that showcased the lives of people in depressed areas in Trinidad and Tobago.
