Basseterre, St. Kitts (July 30th 2015):-England based Kittitian Baller Kareem Queeley has been selected to the Under 16 National Basketball Team of England.
Queeley has selected to the 12-man England Under-16 Men’s squad ahead of the European Championship in Lithuania that starts on August 6th 14 Year Old Queeley received Europe-wide recognition after being named MVP of Spain’s Minicopa Endesa in February which earned him a call-up to the Under-15 English Development Squad that played in Copenhagen in June.
Queeley dominated the Spanish tournament while representing Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid.
The 6’-2” Queeley who has been dominating junior basketball in England over the past two seasons, finished the Spanish tournament with a 43 efficiency rating in the final after a 36 point, 13 rebound double double in the final, where he led Real Madrid to a 83-60 win over Unicaja
It was the second time representing Real Madrid for 14 year old Queeley – who also was flown out for a tournament for them before Christmas.

England achieved a fourth place finish at the FIBA 3×3 Planet under-15 tournament in Rome, having narrowly missed out on a bronze medal.
Kareem represented Team England in the World FIBA 3 X 3 Under 15 tournament in Rome along with Teammates Richard Amaefule and Daniel Ogoro . The 4 man squad impressed to reach the semi-finals of the tournament in May 2015.
England are in Group A alongside Turkey, Germany and Russia with their first game taking place on Thursday, 6th August.
Kareem is the son of businessman Sherlock Queeley and former ECCB Employee Emma Walters-Queeley.
