Freedom Fm has been reliably informed that just before 11am (Aug 7) the body of Albert Myers, a technician at VON radio station and repairman, was discovered in his Stoney Grove home.
The victim was reportedly in his mid to late 60s.
It was confirmed that Myers’ body bore gunshot wounds. It was also stated that the shooting may have occurred around 1am.
Callers to Freedom Fm’s ISSUES on Friday reported that the gunman/gunmen may have taken off in Myers’ black pickup.
One caller, the brother of the late Pabby, the businessman who was recently gunned down at his home in Fountain, said that there has been no suspect in his brother’s death to date and called on anyone with information to assist in bringing the perpetrator(s) to justice.
Police combed the residence of Myers for evidential items and are carrying out their investigation.
This is 6th murder for 2015 in Nevis and the Federation’s 19th. To date there have been no charges laid in any of the murders that occurred in Nevis.
