A man in his late teens was shot and killed Tuesday, night in Mc Knight, Basseterre.
Reports reaching Freedom Fm are that a 19 year old young man known as Rakeem was shot sometime after 9PM Tuesday night, and was rushed to the Joseph N France General Hospital.
Police arrived on the scene shortly after and investigated the crime scene.
Emergency medical staff at the hospital went to work on him to save his life but the teen succumbed to his injuries around five o’clock early Wednesday morning , August 26.
This is the twentieth murder to date in the the federation. Six persons were killed on Nevis and fourteen on St. Kitts.
