It was like a finals game never seen before in SKNABA where one team came out and played their best while another team played as if they were barely present. The Kittitian Hill St.Pauls Tuff Knots played an almost flawless game while the RAMS Hitters played probably there worst game for the season.
The Tuff Knots came out of the gate fast and furious . Totally dominating the Hitters in all aspects of the game. From the rebounding to the scoring Tuff Knots played like a team possessed and hungry for the title. Hitters on the other started out in a very uncharacteristically lackluster manner with countless turnovers and a serious lack of energy. This resulted in a very dominating first quarter for Tuff Knots with a 20-8 advantage at the end of the first quarter. Things got worst for the Hitters in the second quarter when the Tuff Knots continued the onslaught and increased their advantage to 17 points at the end of the half.
Despite a mini run by Hitters in the 3rd quarter the Tuff Knots were able to withstand the Hitters run with a run of their own to end the 3rd quarter and a 63-36 or 27 point advantage over the Hitters.
The 4th quarter was not much different and St.Pauls increased the pressure on the lackluster Hitters and continued the annihilation of the RAMS Hitters. By the end of the game St.Pauls had orchestrated one of the most lop-sided blow-out victory in the history of the SKNABA Finals with a 87-68 victory.
Tuff Knots simply staged a very impressive victory led by Team Captain and now 2015 Finals MVP Nashorn Maynard. Maynard was named as the obvious choice for MVP.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Sports Hon. Shawn K. Richards was on hand to give brief remarks congratulating the Tuff Knots and to hand over the massive championship trophy to the Tuff Knots Team.
