The rapper Lil Boosie shared some sad news on Instagram. “I need all my fans to pray for me,” Boosie’s caption wrote. “Doctor just told me I got cancer on my kidneys.” It’s sad news, particularly since Boosie is just 33 years old.
But the rapper is looking to his fans to provide some support, writing “Prayer is power, and that’s why I’m letting the world know.” The post caption with the heartfelt message was later deleted, though the photo remains.
This is another piece of tough news for the rapper, who also has diabetes, and recently got out of prison for a drug offense and was faced with a murder charge.
But according to TMZ, it’s Boosie’s management who didn’t want him to announce the news, and forced him to delete the caption, since they didn’t want the public to know about his new condition.
Either way, just having the caption there for a few hours has already prompted a huge swing of support from Lil Boosie’s fans, who have been tweeting under “#prayfaboosie,” which ended the original Instagram message.
