Did you think the Jada Pinkett Smith and August Alsina drama was over? Think again. August recently took to Twitter to seemingly address Jada’s comments about their past relationship. Jada appeared on her Facebook show, Red Table Talk, to discuss her past relationship with August with husband Will Smith. Judging from his tweets, August didn’t take too kindly to her remarks.
“If you have something to say, say it w/ ya CHEST kids,” he wrote. “It’s always very perplexing cause I real deal be showing people genuine love. Whole time that envy eating ya lil heart. Anyway, NEXT!!”
Now this comment might be directed at Jada or it might be directed at Cosmo cover girl Keke Palmer. How does Keke fit into this, you ask? Well, on the same day August went off on Twitter, a fan tweeted a photo of Keke and August and asked if they were riding in a car together. She responded, writing, “Yes girl. August was never my man lol. That’s why you’re still reaching to this day to figure out nothing.”
Of course, he had something to say about this comment as well. “U absolutely right. I was NEVER ur man,” he shot back, before revealing details about what allegedly happened between them.
The trend seems to be that August likes to comment on the women he did (or didn’t) date. Although his tweets about KeKe were pretty derogatory, she decided to take the high road. She shared a lengthy Instagram post about why she wasn’t going to continue the drama with August.
“I wanna be mean, but I can’t. I want to post screenshots, but I won’t,” she admitted. She then went on to insinuate that August is lashing out because he’s dealing with the fallout over his comments about Jada. “I wouldn’t feel good kicking someone when they are down because it’s so easy to attack when you’re in a corner, I get it,” she continued. “People be hurting y’all and most of the time it has nothing to do with you. I can’t f*ck up my karma worried about my ego, though I’m human and I have one. Just know I am that bitch despite what my humility may make one believe.”
And that’s that on that, folks.
