MONTEGO BAY, St James — The three men who were found in a motor car in St James Sunday, with their bodies badly burnt, have been identified.
They are 31-year -old ex-soldier Shane Hibbert, and 30-year-old construction worker Rory Johns, both of Three Miles River, Westmoreland. The third man, identified only by his alias ‘Tallest’, is believed to be of Petersfield, also in Westmoreland.
On Sunday, the St James police received a report about a vehicle parked in the Barnett Bush section of Spring Mount in the parish. Upon their arrival, the bodies of three males were discovered inside the vehicle with bodies burnt.
Police said they will be relying on the results of forensic tests to determine the circumstances that led to the death of the three.
Yesterday, family members said the ex-soldier had borrowed his stepfather’s car, picked up the other two men and left for an undisclosed location Sunday morning. Investigations are being carried out by the Area One Police.
