catwalk-1(Basseterre; St. Kitts): The future of fashion modeling in the Federation is on the right path when over 20 young children and teens, ranging from the ages of 4-19, participated in a two-day runway workshop.

The workshop was hosted by Kittitian Top Model Eusha Johnson and dubbed ‘Catwalk Coaching’ which covered a number of areas in the modeling world including runway walking, posing and photo-shoot technique. Johnson, who is also the reigning Miss White Sands Queen, said that the workshop which was held on May 1 and May 8 was successful. “The workshop was a complete success, I’m very proud and happy to see that we have a bunch of eager and excited next generation of models who are patient and willing to learn,” she said.

To conclude the workshop, a mini fashion show will be held at the Carambola Beach Club on Friday, May 27, starting at 6:00 p.m. where the young models will be able to showcase the skills acquired at the workshop. “We’re calling our mini-fashion show, ‘Vogue-The Future of Modeling’, because this is exactly what Catwalk Coaching is all about, showcasing the next generation of models in a fierce, high fashion way,” Johnson said. Johnson extends special thanks to her sponsors Style Jerk Photography, OD Brisbane and Sons, Shadan Production, Carambola Beach Club, Poise SKN and Freedom Fm.
