28-year-old Kishorna Challenger is dead.
On Monday evening, ZIZ News confirmed that at approximately 6:23pm, Kenrick David of Prickle Pear Alley, a local who usually dives for golf balls, assisted the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force in its search for and found Challenger’s body in a pond on the Marriott Golf Course.
It was a day of uncertainty as family members, friends, and staff at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort and other members of the community tried to find the missing 28 year old.
On Monday afternoon, our cameras joined a handful of onlookers at the 7th hole of the Marriott Golf Course and observed search and rescue divers in the nearby pond.
While speaking with Public Relations Officer for the police force Inspector Lyndon David, we learnt that Challenger was last seen at around 7:30am and was reported missing at approximately 9am.
Inspector David said it was believed that Challenger was operating a piece of landscaping equipment and may have fallen into the pond as the machine was recovered from the water.
Challenger was an employee of the St. Kitts Marriott Resort.
