Operation Rescue’s Dwyer Astaphan is questioning whether there are conflict of interest issues in Minister Ian “Patches” Liburd getting involved in a private company, to supply building materials.
The said company was registered in August 2016. Astaphan cites that not only did Minister Liburd not use his full name including “Patches” the name by which he is well known, but also did not list his position as a full pledged minister of government.
Speaking on his weekly radio program, Astaphan suggests that the Ian Patches Liburd matter is indicative of a betrayal of the trust of the electorate that voted for transparency, good governance and accountability.
