NRP Spokesman Dr Kelvin Daley told a Freedom Fm audience on Tuesday that when the NRP left office, there was money in the treasury and that the NRP’s good governance agenda ensured that civil servants were being paid and capital projects were being developed successfully.
Dr Daley took Nevis Calypso King Dis n Dat to task for his statement that when the CCM came to office in 2013, the treasury was empty.
Daley said astute programs were in place to ensure revenue collection.
Dr Daley says this contrasts to the situation that now obtained in Nevis since a CCM Administration took over in 2013.
