The St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) candidate for St. Christopher 1 (East Basseterre), Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, has expressed sympathy to the Hon. Ian Liburd, the Parliamentary Representative and his opponent in the next general elections.
“I learned of your son’s death, my former Boy Scout last night. It’s always difficult to say much at this time, but Hon. Liburd, do know that I care deeply about you as a human being and I am concerned about all you’re going through right now,” said Dr. Hanley in his message of sympathy sent to Mr. Liburd.
Dr. Hanley said “an entire community of mourners will walk with you during this most difficult and painful period of your life. No parent is without deep pain at the loss of their child! Together, our community and our nation will enfold you with love and support.”
“I believe in the might and magnificent of our All-Knowing and Omnipotent God and I know that He will heal your heart in time,” said the SKNLP candidate.
“Please be assured that I am keeping you in positive caring thoughts. My family and I pray earnestly for your strength and healing my brother. May God Bless you and blanket you with His powerful hands at this very difficult moment in your life! I am so sorry for your loss!” said Dr. Hanley to Mr. Liburd, who is St. Kitts and Nevis’ Minister of Public Infrastructure, Posts, Urban Development and Transport.
