Dr. Terrence Drew
SKNLP representative for Constituency #8, Dr Terrance Drew is of the view that Prime Minister Dr the Honorable Timothy Harris, has put the High Command in particular Commissioner of Police Queeley on notice, that following the one year probationary period a foreign COP will be installed.
Drew made the comments on a recent edition of issues St. Kitts-Nevis.
Drew said the police have to defend themselves and not be pushed around by the Minister of National Security, Prime Minister Harris.
Drew admonished COP Queeley to stand firm and adopt the best policing practices in an effort to rid the country of crime.
Drew said Queeley must speak truth to power in the interests of the country, and not speak the things that the Prime Minister wants to hear.
Drew said Queeley deserved the position and wished him success.
