Dr Terrence Drew is calling on the Team Unity Government to rethink the appointment of Mr Micheal Blake to the position of Ambassador to Cuba.
Dr Drew speaking to Freedom Fm’s New’s Desk on Tuesday explained that he is of the view that the recently announced Charge d’Affaires, Ms Verna Morris, is more qualified for the position.
Dr drew is of the view that the government continues to side line the youth of the federation and that the appointment of Mr Blake is an example of this.
He explained that Verna Morris is a graduate of Cuba and speaks Spanish and understands Cuba and from his perspective because of her experience living and studying there, would have been a better choice.
Dr Drew said he feel that Ms Morris would have been an excellent replacement for the Former Ambassador Kenneth Douglas.
