On Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the Kardashians’ Cuban getaway continued, but not without issues. The episode started off with Khloé continued to worry about Lamar Odombeing back at home without her near by.
“His drinking alone makes me so furious,” she told Malika Haqq during the trip. “It hasn’t even been a year.” Later in the episode, the family decided to try out salsa dancing for the first time.
While there, Kim Kardashian West felt “happy” to see Khloé finally relaxing and enjoying Cuba. “It makes me so happy,” Kim told the camera. “I just hope Khloé makes the best of the trip and continues on and has a good time.”
Back in Los Angeles, Scott Disick was experiencing “Cuba fomo.” So, he decided to get the remaining Jenner family together to take part in their own Cuban festivities. “I feel like we’re missing out on something huge,” Disick told Kris Jenner, 60. “It looks so cool and I’m like, ‘what am I doing?’ ”
He told Kris he wanted to bring Cuba to Los Angeles – “Cubaville.”
The first thing on Disick’s Cuban-to-do list was to pick up Cuban food for himself, Kris and Kylie, 19. He then rented an old bright blue, 50’s style car, which he drove over to the house with French Montana and had the Kylie and Kris sit in the back with Cuban cigars and hats while he drove them all around LA.
Back in Cuba, the family was out eating lunch when Kanye West, 38, began to get upset at the fact that Kylie had booked a deal with Puma without talking to him about it first, because she had worked with him on his Adidas line.
“I don’t agree with going against the family,” Khloé, 32, chimed in and agreed with her brother-in-law. “Mom and or Kylie should have presented it to Kanye first.”“Kanye had Kylie walk in his first two shows, he really believed in her as part of his brand,” Kim told the camera. “I get my mom’s job is to get us deals … but everything has to be really carefully played out and I feel like this was a conflict of interest.”
When the family got back to LA, Kim continued to get involved with the Kanye-Kylie Puma drama. “I just wish my mom spoke about it wish us,” Kim said to the camera. “We should all be able to communicate so we don’t step on anyone’s toes.”
She wound up seeking Kris out at her house to explain to her that is wasn’t right how she went behind Kanye’s back for Kylie’s deal. “I run a business and the biggest part of my business it to pay attention to everyone involved … and the best first for each one of my clients,” Kris said to Kim in her defense. “Sometimes it’s about a business decision.”
“Sometimes when you’re dealing with family, it’s not really about a business decision,” Kim hastily responded to her mom. “She was the model that he wanted … I just would have liked the heads up … He had no idea until the shoot was already happening.”
“I am just trying to do the best job for everyone that I can,” Kris told her. “Sometimes I get ahead of myself and forget to communicate the way I should.” In the end, Kris understood where Kim was coming from and in return, Kim was happy having gotten it all sorted out.
Meanwhile, as soon as Khloé got back to the states, her first instinct was to make sure she checked in on Odom – only to find out that he was actually doing okay. “No matter what I do, there’s nothing I can do,” she told the camera. “He has to take control of his life.”
