Hon Marcella Liburd
The Federation’s Minister of Health, the Hon. Marcella Liburd is the new of PANCAP – the Pan Caribbean Partnership against HIV/AIDS.
Minister Liburd’s election by her Caribbean colleagues took place at PANCAP’s 13th Annual General Meeting now taking place in Guadeloupe.
It is been held under the theme “Positioning the Partnership for Post 2015.”
“Priority areas for discussion are sustainability and elimination of stigma and discrimination,” said Minister Liburd in a posting on her FaceBook page.
“I begin service from next year. As Minister of Health it is a pleasure for me to assume a position that allows us to continue to positively assist persons suffering with HIV/AIDS,” said Minister Liburd.
