HER killer used a heavy piece of wood, likely a two-by-four, to beat Kelly Ann Clarke to death.
Forensic pathologist Dr Valery Alexandrov said yesterday the assault was so brutal that Clarke’s face and cheek bones were crushed.
Clarke, 23, was a mother of one.
Her body was found behind a hardware along Guapo/Cap De Ville Road, Point Fortin, on Tuesday. She was found clad in a shirt and no undergarments.
Alexandrov said there were no signs she had been sexually assaulted.
‘Mummy, I love you’
Her mother, who did not want to be named, said her daughter used marijuana. The mother said the last time she saw Clarke, she was in the hospital.
Police said Clarke had pending cases in court for marijuana possession and obscene language.
