Chairman of the National Carnival Committee, Noah Mills, called in to Freedom Fm’s Issues on Thursday to clarify what he termed as slanted statements which referred to him as the owner of a bar operated out of the John Gumbs Building on Bank Street, the property of the government of St. Kitts-Nevis.
On Wednesday’s edition of issues, Chairperson of the SKNLP Marcella Liburd asked the question of who owned and operated the bar on Bank Street, which she indicated was government property. Liburd said that it was held in the public domain that the bar was operated by Noah Mills.
But on Thursday’s edition of Issues, Mills categorically denied ownership, or having any knowledge of who operated it, although he acknowledged receiving payments for working a karaoke business there on Fridays.
