(EMU) – St. Kitts, March 02, 2015: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education. Youth, Sport and Culture Hon. Shawn Richards met with heads of Department in the respective Ministries on Friday to discuss the way forward..
The familiarization meeting chaired by Permanent Secretary of Education Mrs. Ionie Liburd-Willett was held to officially introduce Minister Richards to the officials as well as to present the Minister with an overview of the major projects in each department.
In addressing the gathering of department heads, Minister Richards expressed his intention to lead the ministry with fairness yet firmness.

The department heads also expressed their commitment and full support to the new Deputy Prime Minister.
