The 2015 Power & Groovy Soca Monarch show at the Sugar Mill at Port Zante ended in the wee hours of Thursday on a controversial note.
MC Chris Roberts botched the announcement of the results, and minister of Carnival Honorable Shawn Richards had to step in to provide clarification.
The Soca Monarch competition has been dogged by controversy throughout at Wednesday’s Soca Competition, there were more issues to do with the announcement of results and the actual results which led to a smoldering of boos.
