NigelCarty-1The St Kitts Nevis Labour Party, Deputy Chairman Nigel Carty has laid charges of corruption at the feet of the four month old Team Unity government. Speaking on Freedom Fm’s popular talk show “Issues” on Wednesday the Former Education Minister expressed outrage as he said the appointment of members to the boards that managed pubic organizations were “fair share deals”.

Carty alleged that a senior member of the National Bank of St Kitts Nevis and Anguilla was appointed although he owes the same bank $10 000 000. Carty charged that the appointment was a deliberate attempt to place the person in the position.

Carty also explained that a similar situation is the case in the Development Bank of St Kitts Nevis
