Nevis Reformation Party former Education Minister in the Nevis Island Administration Hensley Daniel told an Issues audience recently that Nevis Premier Vance Amory is not interested in the welfare of Nevisians.
Daniel pointed to the fact that the Premier has abandoned his responsibilities to run Nevis and is now found on a regular basis in St. Kitts as a member of TUG.
Daniel recalled that it was Amory who led the secessionist charge from St. Kitts but seems comfortable in his new double salary position and spends most of his time in St. Kitts.
Daniel further stated that the NIA was established so that Nevisians can govern in the interest of Nevisians but concluded that the move back in 1997 was not against St. Kitts but against former PM, Denzil Douglas.
