NRP Spokesman Allister Yearwood told an Issues audience on Freedom Fm Tuesday, that after listening to Prime Minister Dr Timothy Harris’ broadcast on local radio Monday, he is convinced nothing is being done to protect the economic viability of St Kitts-Nevis via the CBI program.
Yearwood pointed out that the Caribe Update edition on Tuesday informed that there was direct contact between the Team Unity Government Officials and representative of the Chinese Government on the Chinese fugitive living in St Kitts with an economic passport.
Yearwood revealed that he was yet to see anything from the Foreign affairs Minister Mark Brantley on this matter, who had in the past used his diplomatic portfolio to sound off on other similar foreign affairs issues.
NRP Spokesman Allister Yearwood challenged Mark Brantley to address the Ren Biao issue as Prime Minister Harris seemed unwilling and unprepared to handle it.
