The Original Bouyon Pioneers, made up of former members of WCK, will be among acts for the St. Kitts Music Festival to be held between June 23rd and 25th. The group will join major stars performing at the event which includes hip-hop star, 50 Cent, Damian Marley, Tarrus Riley, R. City and Morgan Heritage, among others, for the 20th edition of what has become one of the Caribbean’s leading music festivals.
The Original Bouyon Pioneers will perform on Thursday, June 23. At the launch of the festival, Chairman of the Festival’s Artistes Selection Committee Jonel Powell said his committee spent hours coming up with a list or performers that would satisfy not only the tourism goals of the festival but also the tastes of the patrons and the public on a whole.
“We have presented what we believe is a fantastic group of artists to mark the 20th Anniversary of the St. Kitts Music Festival,” he stated. He said the line of artistes will make the event “one to remember.”
