POLICE MAKE BREAKTHROUGH IN MONEYGRAM ARMED ROBBERY

gram-1The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force wishes to inform the general public that the person identified in a “Wanted Person” bulletin on Tuesday (May 24) has presented himself to the Police. Police on Tuesday had issued a wanted poster for 29-year-old Inebo Hendrickson of Malone Avenue, naming him a person of interest in an armed robbery.

Freedom Fm understands that the police have arrested 3 persons in connection with the armed robbery at MoneyGram on Friday 20th May. Freedom Fm is reliably informed that police executed a search on a Bird Rock home Wednesday morning and took another robbery suspect into custody. According to reports 2 men carried out the armed robbery while a third man waited in a getaway car a short distance away Meanwhile Police are still looking for a suspect in the Gillard’s gas station robbery which also occurred May 20th.

Deputy Commissioner Hilroy Brandy told local media police know who they are looking for in connection to that incident. “We are still doing some investigation with the gas station; we have a suspect that we are looking at. We don’t want to pre-judge anything; we’re taking our time and making sure that when we move that the correct person would be arrested.”

Additionally police are investigating a break in at the FedEx office at the C.A. Paul Southwell Industrial Site over the weekend.
