Nevis Reformation Party, Senator Carlysle Powell speaking on Freedom Fm’s “Issues” on Tuesday deplored the levels of violence and crime taking place on Nevis in particular, and St. Kitts-Nevis in general.
Powell told listeners that the Nevis Island Administration 8 point plan had failed the people of Nevis in detecting or deterring crime.
He said the continued home invasions, armed robberies and shootings demonstrated that crime was trending upwards leaving many Nevisians dissatisfied with the performance of the government in its fight against crime.
