In an effort to educate Artistes in this year’s Soca Monarch Competition and to give them a better understanding of the world of Intellectual Property, The St. Kitts-Nevis National Carnival Committee (SKNCC) will be hosting a seminar on Intellectual Property Rights and how it impacts them as Artistes.
This seminar will be held on Saturday 22nd October, at 10:00 a.m. sharp, at Sweet Lime on PortZante.
To speak on Intellectual Property Rights is Ms. Jihan Williams, Registrar (Asst.); on the Eastern Caribbean Collective Organization (ECCO) for Music Rights is Ms. Grace Richardson, who is the ECCO Agent for St. Kitts and Nevis, and presenting on Creative Industry Registry is Ms.Marlene Phillips, International Research Specialist.
Following the seminar there will be a meeting with said Soca Artistes to discuss the Soca Competition in its entirety.
All artistes are kindly asked to be present and punctual.
