The St. Kitts Diabetes Association, today was the recipient of a donation of insulin syringes from the TDC group of companies.
Vice-president Nurse Davida Irish as well as Public relations officer, Dr Reginald O’loughlin, were on hand to accept this much welcomed donation.
This will certainly assist some of the less fortunate diabetics in St. Kitts, who are financially challenged thus, unable at times to comply with insulin dosing recommendations.
Presentation was done by TDC representative Dominique Mathew earlier today at the business center on Central Street.
The Association would like to publicly thank Mr Mathew and the TDC group of companies for their donation and we can assure them ,that it will certainly make a difference in the lives of those for whom a daily shot makes the difference between comfortable living and significant challenges just to be comfortable and controlled.
