TRELAWNY, Jamaica — Three people died as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle collision along the Duncans Bypass in Trelawny this morning.
The police have not yet released the identities of the deceased.
Preliminary reports are that about 7:30am, a Toyota Axio motor car loaded with members of a family was heading towards the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, when upon reaching a section of the roadway, the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a Nissan van traveling in the opposite direction.
Two passengers from the car died instantly while another died at the Falmouth Public General Hospital.Three people, including a baby, who were on-board the minivan have been hospitalised.
