Prime Minister Harris with Lanny Davis, EVP, LEVICK, former White House special counsel, and US Congressman Eliot Engel
Basseterre, St.Kitts (December 17th 2015):- Well known Washington power broker Lanny Davis has agreed to help St Kitts and Nevis in its efforts to remove the FINCEN Advisory on St Kitts and Nevis.
The disclosure was made in Parliament on December 15, 2015, by Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Dr The Hon Timothy Harris.
Dr Harris said that the improper actions of the Douglas government and the distrust of that government by the USA government as publicized in the FINCEN Advisory could not stand. Every effort must be made to overcturn the advisory.
Team UNITY will continue its reform efforts of the Citizenship by Investment Unit.
He pledged to work with the US government to remove the dark and suspicious stain on the financial space of the country caused by the actions of the Douglas regime.
Mr Davis service comes with no cost to the government of St Kitts and Nevis.
